Did you know that Felt, which is so light and soft in my scarves, can also be tough and hardwearing enough to make shoes, rugs and even living spaces!

Felt is made by using wool fibres and by a process of heat, water and friction, binding and shrinking them into a fabric.

I use cotton cord in the necklaces – so strong and no animal products.
If it looks like silver, then it is! I use sterling silver chain, fasteners and fiddly bits. Fine silver [even purer than sterling] is also used in my jewellery.
Beads are usually glass, some handmade, some vintage. Shell, wood and other metals are sometimes used. The weight of the glass beads and semi-precious stones make the pieces hang beautifully.
I make my own enamel pieces on copper or silver and I create my own silver motifs. Which goes a little way to avoid the use of ‘sweatshop’ goods.
It all adds up to the totally individual image that I know you will like- you’ll never see anyone else wearing an identical piece.
My passion for colour, design and all things beautiful grew through my art training – a B.A. degree followed by a constant learning curve of different techniques and craft skills. A lifetime immersed in arty things! I hope you’ll buy some of my work to see for yourself.
